Prinoth Panther T9r Crawler Carrier
Prinoth has introduced the Panther T9r, a compact crawler carrier that offers a 17,000-pound payload capacity, making it suitable for transporting heavy equipment, materials or supplies across challenging job sites, such as those found in utility maintenance and infrastructure projects.
The T9r is equipped with a payload overload sensor integrated into its telematics system, allowing fleet managers to monitor load levels in real time. When the maximum capacity is exceeded, a touchscreen alert warns operators, helping to prevent excessive wear to critical components such as dump boxes, planetary drives and tracks.
Its compact size allows for maneuverability in tight spaces, while the track system ensures traction in mud, snow or rocky conditions. From hauling poles to delivering tools, the carrier’s customizable dump box supports various utility tasks, enhancing operational efficiency. The T9r also incorporates operator-friendly features, including an intuitive touchscreen interface for monitoring vehicle performance and load status.
UTV International Achiever Tracked Vehicles
UTV International’s new line of Achiever tracked vehicles is designed for utility companies managing vegetation in challenging terrains. These all-terrain carriers – including the RT-04 and compact RT-01 models – feature low ground pressure, minimizing soil damage and making them suitable for environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands. With configurations for spraying, seeding, tree trimming and debris hauling, the vehicles adapt to various maintenance tasks.
Powered by a 134-horsepower Deutz diesel engine, the RT-04 supports an 8,000-pound payload and can climb 40-degree slopes or ford 36-inch waters. It features a modular design with options like sprayers, seeders and aerial platforms for power-line work. The RT-01, available with cabs accommodating one to four people, offers similar versatility in a more compact footprint.
For tree trimming near power lines, the Achiever RPM Series, DLT2-60 DU and TC55 models offer aerial lifts reaching heights of up to 58 feet, with jib capacities ranging from 1,000 to 1,800 pounds. These units feature radial outriggers for enhanced stability on uneven ground and are designed for easy transportation.
Constructed with Corten steel and featuring wide 29-inch tracks, the vehicles ensure durability and traction in mud, in snow or on steep terrain.
ARGO Magnum XF 1000 LE
ARGO has unveiled the Magnum XF 1000 LE, a new side-by-side vehicle – designed for heavy-duty tasks – that may appeal to utility fleets needing reliable off-road capabilities. Powered by a 997-cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine with an automatic transmission and engine braking, the vehicle offers selectable two-wheel and four-wheel drive, including a turf mode to minimize ground damage and a 4,500-pound winch for tough extractions.
The Magnum XF 1000 LE stands out with a 1,000-pound-capacity rear cargo box that features a 47-degree dump angle and tie-down points, ideal for hauling equipment. Its towing capacity reaches 2,500 pounds with a 2-inch receiver hitch. Stability on rough terrain is ensured by the vehicle’s 14.2-inch ground clearance and independent double A-arm suspension with 11 inches of travel.
A digital display provides essential data, such as speed, fuel level and maintenance alerts, while adjustable power steering and a tilted steering wheel enhance driver comfort.
Safety features include a certified rollover protection structure, three-point seat belts and individual headrests for three passengers. The cab offers ample storage, with dual glove boxes and under-seat compartments. Available in painted gray metallic, the vehicle comes with 27-inch Maxxis Bighorn tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels.
PowerBully 9C with Terex TC55 Aerial
Developed in collaboration with Custom Truck One Source, this tracked vehicle is designed for utility fleets that need to provide safe, reliable access to overhead power and telecommunications lines in challenging environments.
The PowerBully 9C, a first in its 9-ton payload class for North America, features a 6-cylinder Cummins engine and rubber tracks that reduce ground pressure to 0.19 kg/cm², allowing the vehicle to navigate swamps, flooded areas and steep slopes up to 45 degrees. It can wade through 1.2 meters of water and reach speeds of 9 mph. The Terex TC55 aerial includes a two-person work basket and a hydraulically extendable arm supported by a 30,000-pound hydraulic winch for heavy-duty tasks.
Safety features include a ROPS- and FOPS-certified cab, a 360-degree view, LED work lights and a two-axis incline sensor with audible alerts. The cab’s suspension system and 11-inch touch display enhance operator comfort and control. The vehicle’s frame supports quick attachment installation with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical interfaces.
UTV International Voyager D12
UTV International has introduced the third-generation Voyager D12 Personnel Carrier, a 12-passenger vehicle designed to serve utility fleets operating in remote areas and harsh climates.
The updated Voyager D12 features a hybrid diesel engine, which reduces fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining power for demanding tasks. Thanks to cold-start technology, it can operate in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius. Plus, the D12 is fully amphibious, capable of navigating lakes and flooded areas. The vehicle’s high ground clearance and advanced suspension enable it to navigate snow, ice, mud and rocky surfaces with ease. A modular design lets operators customize the D12 for transporting personnel, equipment or emergency supplies.
With a climate-controlled cab, the Voyager D12 prioritizes operator comfort and safety during extreme weather. Its increased payload capacity supports utility crews carrying essential gear without sacrificing passenger space. Government agencies in the Arctic have already adopted the vehicle for its reliability in critical operations.
