Navman Fleet Tracking System Additions

Navman Wireless USA has added electronic driver log and driver vehicle inspection reporting (DVIR) options to its OnlineAVL2 fleet tracking system for corporate fleets that must comply with FMCSA regulations. Both reports can now be completed online through a link in the Navman Wireless interface or in the field on Navman Wireless’ M-Nav 800 in-cab touch-screen navigation/message terminal.

OnlineAVL2’s new Electronic Driver Logs option automates hours-of-service reporting. The new Electronic DVIR option enables drivers to electronically record the results of pre- and post-trip inspections.

Both options are provided through a partnership with Innovative Software Engineering. www.navmanwireless.com
