ACT Expo Speaker Lineup

Featured Speakers Announced for 2015 ACT Expo

Gladstein, Neandross and Associates, organizers of the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, have announced the featured speaker lineup for the 2015 event, which takes place May 4-7 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.

Keynote presentations will be provided by Gregg Roden, senior vice president of productivity and sustainability for Frito-Lay, and David Steiner, president and CEO of Waste Management. Roden will share why Frito-Lay – a $13 billion division of PepsiCo – is set on becoming the most fuel-efficient fleet in the country. Steiner will discuss Waste Management’s continued leadership role in investing in alternative fuels for vehicles and related infrastructure.

During ACT Expo’s dynamic plenary sessions, attendees will gain an inside viewpoint on the cyclical nature of oil market pricing, the underlying long-term oil supply-demand imbalance, why it’s inevitable that prices will be heading north again and how fleets that switch to alternative fuels today will come out on top. Featured industry speakers will include T. Boone Pickens, founder, chairman and CEO of BP Capital; David J. Porter, commissioner of the Railroad Commission of Texas; and Rusty Rush, chairman of the board, president and CEO of Rush Enterprises.

During TED Talk-style presentations and an executive roundtable, ACT Expo attendees will also hear from progressive fleet operators who are driving clean transportation innovation in the midst of an ever-changing market. Featured fleet speakers include Gary Thomas, president and executive director of Dallas Area Rapid Transit; Mike Whitlatch, UPS vice president of global energy and procurement; Elizabeth Fretheim, director of logistics sustainability for Walmart; and Drew Cullen, Penske Truck Leasing’s senior vice president of fuels and facilities services. www.actexpo.com
