ATSSA’s 2026 Convention Heads to Houston

Written by Kate Wade on . Posted in , .

From February 20-24, thousands are expected to gather at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston for the American Traffic Safety Services Association’s 56th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo.

Billed as the premier North American event for the roadway safety infrastructure industry, attendees can expect to explore the latest developments in relevant devices, vehicles, equipment and technology on the show floor. Industry leaders will be on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations.

As in years past, the 2026 ATSSA convention schedule also features formal and informal networking opportunities intended to bring together transportation professionals from public agencies, manufacturers and various other aspects of the industry.

Looking for additional ways to expand your industry knowledge? Utility fleet professionals who attend the event will have access to dozens of educational sessions covering business, innovation, worker protection, pavement markings, traffic signals and temporary traffic control.

Chad Hymas, who became a safety advocate following paralysis, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address – “Leadership in the Line of Fire – When Safety Isn’t Optional” – during the convention’s opening session.

Other event offerings include the New Products Rollout and industry award announcements, plus the perennially popular Circle of Innovation, which brings together roadway safety and public sector transportation professionals to share innovative solutions to problems encountered in the field. Convention attendees will also have access to the latest legislative advocacy information.
